The village store caters for most of the needs of local shoppers, anything from firelighters to frozen foods, nappies to needles, bread to baked beans and cards to chocolate. The proprietors, Nigel and Jeanette are also a great source of information, and are frequently asked for directions by delivery drivers and tourists alike! Newspapers and magazines can be delivered daily, there is an off license and dry cleaning can be arranged.
The shop is open Monday to Friday 6.30am till 5.30pm and Saturdays 7am till 12.30pm.

are now able to conduct your Motor Vehicle Licensing Transactions
at this Post Office
The Post Office opening times are slightly different to the shop; Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 9 – 12.30 and 1.30 – 5.30, Wed and Sat 9 – 12.30.
All post Office services are available including Vehicle Licensing, Banking, Bureau de Change, and of course posting and stamps.
The local bus stop is outside Chaplins store for trips to Stowmarket and opposite for the return journey.
